A little something out of the ordinary

Let's stretch a little bit and do some modeling contest, what do you say? Yes, there was a local modeling contest held in Virginia last weekend and there was a lot of excitement. The contest was open to everyone and there were 4 judges all have different background: Alan, a model from NY (modeled for Saks 5th Ave., etc), a makeup artist, a hairstylist, and a rather famous fashion designer. Once the contestants are in the finals, they had to pick a drawing of a random object that they have to use it on their walk down the runway. This demonstrates their stylish creativity and confidence. They're being judged on the walk, the pose, the makeup/hair, clothing that they chose for themselves and of course the style that they present. Remember, this is a model contest, not a beauty pageant. So you don't have to be absolutely gorgeous to win. What you're seeing are actually the finalists, so let's get down to business and I'll let you be the judge!

Ok Models, Come On Out!!

Ok, so I guess you saw who was the Grand Prize winner...after the party, I heard from the person that tallied the points, that Jennifer (the lady in purple) received an exceeding number of points, very surprised how high the score was although they knew she was good. She had the style, the pose, the look, but most importantly the confidence in each of her pose, very sharp and distinct. Congratulations Jennifer!
