I know you all have been waiting for one of our infamous couple Jin & Jack's photos. I'm trying not to disappoint you and thanks so much for your patience!!! Be sure to scroll all the way down for something beautiful...
About the bride... I know her for a brief period of time during High School. I still remember a group picture in front of the Twin Tower. Then a year ago, we reunited through Chef Jane's gatherings, she was also one of Jin's bridesmaids. Then we were asked to do their engagement session, which we're still happy whenever we see their photos. Then followed by their destination wedding held in Cancun Mexico with an intimate number of families and friends attending. Although we weren't able to attend, but we were happy to be able to capture their reception here! On the day of reception, we had planned to spend a few hours for a DC shoot but because the weather was quite uncomfortable, Jin had requested we do the shoot later after the wedding. And so we will, it's scheduled in the coming days.
Without further delay, here are some of the ones I took out to share with you. Since there wasn't a dedicated time to shoot their formal portraits, anytime while waiting for guests to arrive, we snapped the shots here and there. Hope you enjoy!
Some of the careful details:
Jack and his father. Can you see there's something about this shot that makes me smile. I adore his father's expression. I wonder if that's how tt will look when he gives little t away too. That's the squint of all loving fathers:
The restaurant was on the second floor, and there was an escalator, so...quickly to these. LOVE:
Jin, you look AMAZING!
And this is ohhh sooo Jack. You make me laugh so hard whenever I look at this!
The girls (whenever I look at the blog, I remember Annie)
Note: The bridesmaids could wear anything they wanted that evening, while in Cancun they had on blue dresses:
Here is Jack's parents:
Changing of outfits to toast with friends and families around the tables. How beautiful is this, with both mothers:
Are you ready for some family portraits. Some you might not have seen before at reception:
Group portrait of Jack's parents friends:
A big family photo:
On to toasting with friends:
Aww, her college friend from California:
Chef Jane, who couldn't make it to cancun made a speech and toast:
The cake looked beautiful. But let's see how good it tasted....
Love!
Yep, it tasted delicious according to this:
Remember Jack's expression, here's another sequel of the one you've already seen last week!
As the night brings closure, their "second" dance (the first being the one in cancun ;)
And I'm going to leave you with two things, a beautiful kiss....and a slideshow...
Here's one of the slideshows I've been working on while missing in action. If you haven't seen their engagement photos, no need to look for them because here they are. I love love love. These ALWAYS make me SMILE! Hope you ENJOY as much as I do:
You bet Jin and Jack will be seen again on this blog ;)
